김태미와 정용하의 2인전 <tyger tyger,>는 월리암 블래이크(William Blake)의 시 "The Tyger"에서 암시한 창작 또는 창작물의 이원성과 상호연결성을 다루고 있다. 이번 전시를 통해 그들의 우정 및 서로 닮은 경험을 바탕으로 삶과 언캐니(uncanny)한 경험을 가감없이 보여주고자 한다. 김태미는 신작 "I Left My Fear on a Mountain"을 통해 이전 작업들을 보완하고 진정한 창작의 열정과 능력을 재발견하고자 한다. 정용하의 신작 "Come, Lord!"는 삶의 시작과 끝이라는 닮은 듯 닮지않은 이면성을 보여주고 있다.
tyger tyger, is a two-woman exhibition by Tammy Kim and YongHa Jeong. Alluding to William Blake's poem, “The Tyger,” tyger tyger, concerns dualities and interconnectedness in creating and creations. Emerging from their friendship and parallel experiences, this show is a direct reflection and celebration of uncanny departures in the artists' lives. In Kim’s newest work, entitled “I Left My Fear on a Mountain,” she repurposes media from past work while exploring her capacity (or lack thereof) to be pure in the act of creating. YongHa Jeong's "Come, Lord!" is an ode to the similarities between two seemingly dissimilar aspects of life: its beginning and end.

김테미는 미국 캘리포니아와 버지니아 주 출신 설치 작가이다. 그녀의 작업은 구조물과의 물리적 상호작용을 통해 관객이 참여자 또는 창작가 되고 더 나아가 작품의 한부분이 된다. 서울, 런던, 뉴욕, 샌프란시스코, 벨를린 등에서 다양한 전시 경력을 가조있다.
미국 캘리포니아 출신 정용하는 음악 인류학 박사과정을 이수중이고 국악의 현대적 적용, 시각에술과 음악의 융합에 대한 연구를 하고 있다.
Tammy Kim is an installation artist from California and Virginia. Her past work involved physical interaction with structures as a means for viewers become participants, collaborators as well as part of the work itself. Her works have been exhibited in Seoul, London, New York, San Francisco and Berlin.
A California native, YongHa Jeong is trained in ethnomusicology with interest in contemporary Koran traditional musical practices and visual arts and music intersections.
